About the team:
- Non Financial Risk Management are an established organization within DB consolidating to legal, operational and Compliance risks and to support the business lines by analysing and assessing the risks in these areas and providing advice on documentation, procedures and controls, with a view to optimal management of these risks and to ensure that business develops harmoniously.

Business Overview:
Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) manages the Bank’s non-financial risks. These include:
- Operational Risk: The risk of loss resulting from inadequate or failed internal processes, people and systems or from external events, and includes legal risks.
- Reputational Risk: The risk of possible damage to DB’s brand and reputation, and the associated risk to earnings, capital or liquidity arising from any association, action or inaction which could be perceived by stakeholders to be inappropriate, unethical or inconsistent with the Banks’ values and beliefs.
- NFRM defines the non-financial risk Framework to appropriately Identify, Assess, Mitigate, Monitor, Report and escalate non-financial risks.
The NFR Framework defines the consistent management of risk across over 100 non-financial risk types including:
- Information and Resilience risks (IRRM)
- Transaction Processing risks (TPR)
- Benchmark submissions risks
- Anti-Financial Crime risks
The NFRM Framework team is responsible for the development, maintenance, improvement and regulatory compliance of the overall NFR Framework. This includes:
- The principles, policies and procedure landscape
- Defining the roles and responsibilities across the bank for NFRM
- NFR governance across the bank
- The NFR tool set and capabilities, including: events, lessons learned, actions & tracking, scenarios and reporting
- Training, communication and implementation of the Framework components
- Independently assessing conformance for the implementation of the Framework
Role Description
- The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering change in Non-Financial Risk space. As a Product Owner, this person will be responsible for analyzing the Front-To-Back (F2B) business and functional requirements and data analysis; includes writing business requirement documents, functional specifications, data analysis, tracking issues, controlling change requests, and coordinating UAT including writing of test packs.
- The position requires a person who understands the Operational and non-Financial Risk in investment banking domain, functional analysis, and programming is a plus, ability to think critically, analyze workflows and data, draw conclusions, suggest solutions to mitigate operational and non financial risk, improve efficiency and recommend automated solutions.
- This role also acts as the contact for the business divisions and technology solution providers for all aspects of solution identification.

Your key responsibilities
- Lead projects (Front-to-Back)
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in Non-Financial Risk space.
- Understand the business flows, translating user requirements, and writing Business Requirements documents, Creating User Stories.
- Well Versed with waterfall and Agile Methodology, tools (Jama, Jira)
- Writing of functional specification documents
- Challenge the requirements where needed, explain these requirements to the functional analysts, QA and Dev. teams
- Collaborate closely with functional analysts and application owners as the business/functional counterpart in solution identification and estimations
- Support creation of business case(s) outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions.
- Manage user acceptance testing and test case development/coordination with the business.
- Ensure that end users & support teams are correctly trained to use solutions being delivered by the project.
- Support Application Services teams in functional test case generation and test result validation.
- Document business and process flows
- Support implementation team and solve post go-live issues
- Creating presentations for senior management forums
- Coordinate and manage F2B UAT
- Gathering and interpreting market intelligence through interaction with internal stakeholders and participating in industry forums.
- Interacting with the Central Risk Control Teams, Internal/External Auditors to understand the Business requirements.
- Closely work with Dev team and understand the non-Functional requirements for NFRM applications/products.

Your skills and experience
- 10+ years experience as a Product Owner and Business Analyst in an Investment Banking environment
- Subject matter expertise in Non-Financial risk Management (information Risk and Resilience Management - IRRM and Operational Risk Management-ORM) Control Framework.
- Experience in conceptualization and solution definition
- Prior experience with Systems Development Life Cycle and Agile.
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines
- Assertive with the ability to interact with various control and operational
- Good documentation skills including process modelling
- Strong problem solving and analysis skills
- Proactive, delivery orientated approach
- Knowledge on Investment Banking Risk control Frameworks and Matrix.
- Enthusiastic ‘can do’ approach to all responsibilities
- Ability to take direction as needed as well as being able to work independently
- Excellent PC skills to include proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
