Full Stack Developer (Python & React)

ISS STOXX is looking for a Full Stack Developer (Python + React.js) to join our team in Mumbai (Goregaon East), India.
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web technologies, including Python (Django/Flask), React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and Cloud like AWS. Experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, Containerization, and NHost platform is highly preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities:

Develop and enhance web applications using Python (Django/Flask), React.js, Node.js, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

Design and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints, and work with third-party APIs.

Optimize the performance, scalability, and security of applications.

Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, etc.) to gather requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.

Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.

Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the development process.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience in web development with Python (Django/Flask) and React.js.

Strong experience with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL database design and SQL querying.

Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and GraphQL.

Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.

Experience with Docker/Podman for containerization and orchestration.

Strong understanding of CI/CD tools and processes.

Experience with Agile methodologies and working in collaborative teams.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with Node.js and Express.js for backend development.

Familiarity with the NHost platform for serverless backend management.

Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).

Knowledge of modern front-end technologies such as Redux, React Router, etc.

Familiarity with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD).
