Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced FSDM Data Modeler to support enterprise data initiatives within the Banking and Financial Services domain. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Financial Services Data Model (FSDM)–based data models to support regulatory reporting, analytics, and enterprise data platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in logical and physical data modeling, hands-on experience with FSDM, and a solid understanding of banking data domains.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Modeling & Architecture
Design, develop, and maintain logical, physical, and conceptual data models based on FSDM standards.
Customize and extend the FSDM to align with business requirements while ensuring model integrity.
Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable data models.
Support data models for regulatory reporting, risk, finance, and compliance use cases.
Ensure alignment with industry standards and internal data governance frameworks.
Collaborate with risk, finance, and compliance teams to ensure accurate data representation.
Work closely with data engineers and architects to implement data models in data warehouses, data lakes, and reporting platforms.
Support data integration from multiple source systems into enterprise data platforms.
Ensure consistency of data definitions and lineage across systems.
Define and maintain data definitions, business rules, and metadata.
Support data quality initiatives, including validation rules and reconciliation checks.
Participate in data governance activities such as data dictionaries and business glossaries.
Required Skills & Experience (Must Have)
6–7 years of experience in data modeling within Banking or Financial Services.
Strong hands-on experience with FSDM (Financial Services Data Model).
Expertise in logical and physical data modeling.
Strong understanding of banking domains such as Risk, Finance, Treasury, Loans, Deposits, and Regulatory Reporting.
Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and data lake architectures.
Proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin, PowerDesigner, Sparx EA, or similar.
Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation.
Nice to Have
Experience with BCBS 239, IFRS 9, or other regulatory frameworks.
Exposure to cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of data governance tools and metadata management platforms.
Experience working in Singapore or APAC banking environments.
