Role Description

• In our squad Advisory and DPM we develop and maintain multiple applications within the Wealth Management Area of Deutsche Bank Private Bank with the focus on the Advisory Process for our Clients. The applications support the value chain from gathering Client and Investment Idea data, creating a full documentation of the advisory process between Client and Client Advisor up until the preparation of the Orders against the market.
• As Senior Engineer you are responsible for designing and developing entire engineering solutions.
• You will employ your profound technical experience to ensure that the solutions are well architected, maintainable and built stable according to the DevOps philosophy.
• In the team you provide thought leadership by mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members.

Your key responsibilities

• You are involved in the whole Software Development Lifecycle starting from analyzing requirements, developing, deploying and testing software as well as maintaining & continuously improving it.
• Your primary focus will be on software design, development and unit-testing activities including peer code reviews.
• You provide high-quality solutions that meet functional as well as non-functional requirements.
• You actively participate and contribute into the sprint activities and ceremonies e.g. daily stand-up, Sprint planning, retrospectives, refinements etc.
• You collaborate with other team members to achieve the sprint objectives.

Your skills and experience

• At least 5 years' experience in design and development using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Typescript including frontend driven development based on JS framework’s either React or Angular
• Strong experience in creating reusable components and libraries using JS framework’s best practices, maintaining code quality, modularity and scalability.
• Experience in writing unit test cases using like Jest, Enzyme and react testing lib.
• Experience with cloud development platform (OpenShift/ Kubernetes/Docker, GCP) will be the plus and DevOps tool chain (GIT, TeamCity, JIRA).
• Strong practical and applied knowledge of software design patterns and algorithms in general.
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM environment including agile tooling together with Experience and knowledge of investment business and its operations.
• Pro-active team player with good communication and English language skills.
