The Citi Ventures Finance team performs as a financial strategic advisor providing Financial Planning, Portfolio Management and Executive Decision Support to Citi Ventures leadership team and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with the Quarterly Performance Review / Quarterly Impairment Review for Citi Ventures and Citi Impact Fund: develop presentation materials highlighting key investment information/metrics to support leadership decision making
· Provide regular highlights of portfolios, partnering with Investing teams and key stakeholders to track investment performance, and memorialize key updates
· Assist in the evaluation of potential new investments, with a focus on financial and strategic fit.
· Help in managing Citi Ventures’ financial forecasting and strategic planning; prepare monthly/quarterly review package with trends and variance analysis; monitor project expenses and operating costs
· Provide ad hoc data and analytics to support Citi Ventures/Citi Impact Fund leadership decision making, including strategic initiatives (e.g.: reorganization, divestitures, etc.)
•Manage relationships with third party vendors in support of Citi Ventures/Citi Impact Fund
· Acts as Subject Matter Expert on finance and innovation topics, to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
Qualifications:
· >5 years of relevant finance experience
· Passionate about innovation topics
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist with decision making
· Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
· Demonstrated presentation skills
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
· Master’s degree preferred
