Matrix IFS is seeking is seeking an experienced FircoSoft Developer with hands-on expertise in Firco Continuity to join our Financial Crimes Compliance technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting FircoSoft AML and Sanctions Screening solutions within enterprise banking environments.
This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of AML and sanctions screening workflows, and experience integrating FircoSoft applications with upstream and downstream banking systems.

Job Summary
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working with FircoSoft solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Firco Continuity is mandatory.
- Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting FircoSoft applications.
- Strong knowledge of AML, Sanctions Screening, and Financial Crime Compliance.
- Experience with Firco Trust, Firco Continuity, and other FircoSoft product suite components.
- Strong SQL development and database experience (Oracle and/or SQL Server).
- Experience with Java, Shell Scripting, XML, XSLT, and Web Services.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and production support experience.
- Experience with system integrations and middleware technologies.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messaging (MT/MX formats) is highly preferred.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain FircoSoft applications.
- Implement and support Firco Continuity solutions for sanctions and payment screening.
- Customize FircoSoft workflows, screening rules, and configuration based on business requirements.
- Develop interfaces between FircoSoft and internal banking systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide Level 2/Level 3 application support.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of FircoSoft applications.
- Work closely with Compliance, AML Operations, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams.
- Participate in application upgrades, migrations, and platform enhancements.
- Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support reporting and data analysis.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory and security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in investment banking or financial services.
- Knowledge of OFAC, AML, KYC, FATF, and international sanctions regulations.
- Experience with payment screening, customer screening, and transaction monitoring.
- Experience integrating FircoSoft with SWIFT, payment hubs, or core banking platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools such as Git.

Education
