As a Financial Analyst in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting outcomes that support firmwide decision-making. You will be responsible for partnering across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of forecasting and budgeting, including analysis of financial and business metrics and development of new reporting capabilities such as dashboards. You will analyze, prepare, and reconcile accounting and technical data, maintain financial and reporting systems, and drive automation and process improvements to streamline cycle times while supporting special projects as needed.

 

Job responsibilities 

  • Partner with Data Product owners and data governance to define data classification, data masking that stay aligned with evolving business needs.
  • Design and enforce fine grained, role based access control across unity catalog to ensure least privilege data access.
  • Manage E-2-E entitlement lifecycle - provisioning periodic review and de-previsioning - while maintaining audit trails for compliance and security reviews.
  • Deliver efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy, including location strategy, span of control, and related reporting.
  • Monitor key metrics, drive data quality initiatives across the product area, and define future reporting and analytics needs.
  • Support delivery of FP&A data products, ensuring alignment between business needs, data models, and platform capabilities.
  • Strengthen controls and streamline processes by introducing automation where possible.
  • Support delivery governance across the lifecycle, including dependency management, risk tracking, release readiness, and ensuring timely execution of committed milestones.
  • Ensure data quality, stability, and reliability of the product by establishing validation strategies, monitoring health metrics, and driving continuous improvements
     

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a subject of a technical nature
  • 6+ years of work experience, in Financial Services, and/or accounting/controller background
  • Proficient in SQL, Python and Databricks
  • Proficiency with data mining/gathering and manipulation of data sets
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly
  • Ability to create ad hoc reporting for senior management
  • Proven track record for executing on special projects / assignments with often little lead time or information
  • Highly motivated and able to thrive and think clearly under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to be respected as a trusted partner for the Business, Finance, and FP&A Teams
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management/prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
