Job Description
Asturias is currently looking to hire a Financial and Data Analyst. As a Financial and Data Analyst, you will:
- Gain insight to the dynamics of working on an equity focused, long/short hedge-fund
- Acquire expertise working with a team of Research Analysts who are seasoned TMT experts and responsible for autonomously managing an independent fund on behalf of AB
- Learn a process driven model for fundamental, in-depth analysis of companies and industries
- Perform diligent & deep dive fundamental research on a universe of investments, financial statements and associated data
- Update individual models & research notes on a regular basis in keeping with the investment and compliance process requirements
- Conduct yourself with the highest levels of professionalism and integrity
Job Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
- 3-6 years’ experience within Accounting, Investment Banking, Hedge Fund, Private Equity or IT Consulting
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent broad-based analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail and intellectual maturity
- Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
- Genuine desire to be a team player and work in a highly rigorous and collegial environment
