Regulatory capital reporting delivery (RWA / SLR / SCCL)

  • Support the preparation, review, and submission of regulatory capital deliverables and governance materials for RWA / SLR / SCCL in close partnership with key stakeholders.
  • Execute complex reconciliations and analytical reviews to ensure alignment across reporting outputs, including investigation of data discrepancies, root-cause documentation, and maintenance of a clear audit trail of analysis and decisions.
  • Prepare quarterly and month-end analytics, variance explanations, and management-ready materials that clearly articulate drivers of RWA/SLR/SCCL movements and linkages to regulatory capital metrics (e.g., CET1 / Tier 1 / Total capital ratios and leverage measures).
  • Coordinate closely with Technology, Data, Finance, and Risk partners to ensure controlled, timely delivery, including support for testing/UAT where calculation logic, mappings, or data pipelines change.

Regulatory change, governance, and stakeholder engagement

  • Analyze the impact of proposed and final regulatory rule changes on reporting and processes; contribute to translating requirements into sustainable reporting, controls, and operating model enhancements.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Audit, Finance Project Office, Business Operations, Technology) and external constituencies (e.g., regulators, auditors, consultants) as needed
  • Prepare and present periodic analytics and key messages for governance forums and senior management reviews, ensuring content is accurate, defensible, and aligned with agreed narrative and evidence standards.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a strong collaborative culture, operating effectively in a global model with frequent interaction and shared deliverables across time zones.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory capital frameworks and RWA methodologies (Standardized / IRBA concepts), with understanding of leverage/SLR concepts and large exposure / SCCL reporting expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret ambiguous regulatory guidelines, resolve complex data discrepancies, and develop practical solutions with a strong documentation and controls mindset.
  • Experience with financial data aggregation and reporting tooling (e.g., FDW, Axiom, or similar platforms), including the ability to trace data lineage from source to reported output.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in common applications (Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to build clear, management-ready analysis and commentary under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tools like SAP, Python, PowerQuery, Tableau or similar data analytics / automation platforms is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CPA, MBA, or advanced degree beneficial.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking - an ability to take a long-term view on shaping the department's strategic vision in a way that is consistent with the CFO and the Bank's broader strategic agenda.
