This is an entry to mid-level finance role that sits within the Finance function and supports both Finance and Sales teams. You will help build and maintain commercial dashboards, calculate commissions and affiliate payouts, and provide the AVP- Finance and Finance Director with visibility into the sales pipeline to support accurate forecasting and budgeting.
This role offers excellent exposure to senior management, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to develop skills in financial analysis and commercial analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support & Commercial Reporting (35%):
- Maintain dashboards showing client trends, sales pipeline, and revenue trends
- Track sales metrics: deals in progress, conversion rates, client acquisition, transaction volumes
- Provide sales teams with regular reports on their performance and pipeline status
- Monitor client activity levels and flag accounts with declining transactions
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests from commercial teams
- Help identify revenue opportunities and risks.
Financial Reporting & Administration (35%):
- Calculate monthly/quarterly commission payments for sales teams
- Process affiliate payout calculations and maintain records
- Support the AVP-Finance and Finance Director with pipeline data for budgeting and forecasting
- Reconcile sales data between HubSpot (CRM) and internal database systems
- Track revenue actuals vs. budget and help explain variances
- Maintain accurate documentation of all calculations and methodologies
Dashboard & Data Management (25%):
- Update dashboards with latest data from HubSpot and internal database systems
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports
- Learn to build new reports and visuals as business needs evolve
- Work with the Engineering and product team on data integration improvements
- Maintain data refresh schedules and troubleshoot any issues
- Document processes and create user guides for stakeholders
Stakeholder Support (5%):
- Prepare reports and presentations for Senior Management Team as requested
- Respond to queries from AVP Finance, Finance Director and COO
- Coordinate with CRM, Sales, and Operations teams on data requirements
- Support monthly/quarterly business review meetings with analysis
Requirements
Essential:
- 2-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, analytics, reporting, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with BI and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working with numbers and data.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools is a plus.
- Exposure to CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Previous experience in fintech, banking, or payments
- Understanding of sales processes and commission structures
