The Balance Sheet Anchoring team is seeking for intermediate level position responsible to support the compare process between Citi Financials and Citi Contractual data for Banking, Wealth and US Personal Banking (USPB) segments.

The Finance Reporting Analyst 2 will handle the generation, tracking and submission of financial adjustments in coordination with the Finance Team and other key partners. The overall objective of this role is to accurately investigate, report and prepare any adjustment to support regulatory and risk requirements of the firm. Besides, seeking for permanent solutions of new and recurrent items.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Balance Sheet Anchoring process by investigating breaks, requesting support to key partners and submitting adjustments to meet regulatory and business requirements.

  • Assist with the accuracy of books and sub-ledgers by investigating, raising and reporting any concern to the corresponding Segment Controller and involved parties.

  • Document at the end of each cycle any remaining or recurrent break required solution as compensating measure.

  • Seek for permanent solutions of new and recurrent items by coordinating with Controllers Team and involved parties.

  • Facilitate the implementation of procedures and the development of analyses and reports as per business needs.

  • Deliver routine, defined outputs and adhoc requirements.

  • Escalate problems or issues related to transactions, processes, reports, or procedures.

  • Integrate established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 2 - 5 years of previous experience preferred

  • Experience in Finance, Financial Services or Accounting Internship preferred

  • Time Management: Efficiently organizing and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Detail oriented

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal English communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
