Opportunity Overview: Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounting & Compliance
This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining books of accounts, statutory compliance (GST, TDS), and supporting the finance team with day-to-day operations, reporting, and audits. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, technically strong in Indian accounting standards, and comfortable using ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
What you’ll do:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, bank entries, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate ledgers in NetSuite ERP as per Indian GAAP.
- Handle Accounts Payable/Receivable, vendor management, and payment processing.
- Timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and reconciliation with books and GSTR-2A/2B.
- TDS compliance – calculation, deduction, payment, and filing of returns (Form 26Q, 24Q).
- Handle STPI Compliances – Softex, MPR and Annual reports filing and other matters.
- Assist in monthly closing, MIS reporting, and cash flow projections.
- Support audit processes – statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Prepare schedules for annual filings, coordinate with auditors and consultants.
- Ensure documentation and SOP adherence for all finance processes.
- Maintain Excel trackers for GST, TDS, expense accruals, and reconciliations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Commerce / Accounting
(CA Inter / CWA Inter / B.Com., M.Com., MBA Finance preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in Indian accounting and taxation
- Strong hands-on knowledge of NetSuite ERP – mandatory
- Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formula-based reporting)
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, STPI and basic Companies Act compliance
- Familiarity with MIS reporting, audit support, and compliance calendars
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nacharam, Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
