The role in a nutshell:
The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end billing process, ensuring accurate invoice generation, timely billing, compliance with financial policies, and coordination with internal teams and clients to resolve billing-related issues.
How you will make a difference:
Prepare and process payroll-based billing invoices for clients
Ensure accuracy of billing as per client contracts, rate cards, and service agreements
Maintain billing schedules and ensure timely submission of invoices
Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer support teams to validate billing details
Handle billing queries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Maintain proper documentation and records for all billing transactions
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to billing
Assist in audits by providing required billing documents and explanations
What will give you an advantage:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field
Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and billing processes
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software (e.g., SUN System, SAP, Tally, Oracle)
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and coordination abilities
Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks
