Responsibilities:
- Manage GL accounting
- Prepare the schedule of prepaid expenses, Capitalization of assets, maintaining
- Fixed Asset register, and monthly amortization.
- Prepare monthly closing entries
- Prepare OPEX analysis and ensure accruals are accounted for with proper documentation
- Prepare accounting reports and statements by Segment, Regional Business Unit, Legal Entities
- Provide technical accounting advice to functional or operational area managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports and manage their financial responsibilities
- Reconcile accounting records with the independent administrator
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate financial documentation
- Assist with special projects as needed which may include new accounting standards, system implementations/enhancements, benefit plan financial statements and financial analyses
- Prepare all required tax reporting and compliance forms
- Prepare annual reports and tax reports for various states
Requirements:
- A Bachelors Degree or higher in Accounting & Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or other relevant fields
- 3-5 years of experience within the field
- Strong proficiency and knowledge of Accounting, Tax, and Compliance.
- A Finance Graduate with relevant years of experience or CA/CA-inter is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office and other Finance software
