Our Consumer & Community Banking division serves our Chase customers through a range of financial services, including personal banking, credit cards, mortgages, auto financing, investment advice, small business loans and payment processing. As an Experience Design Vice President in Wealth Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user experiences across our products and services. You will leverage your expertise in design and research to lead strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and foster a culture of inclusivity and accessibility.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute design and research strategies for complex projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user needs
- Lead end-to-end design initiatives, including diagramming service flows, designing wireframes, and prototyping interactions
- Role-model the adoption of inclusive design practices and accessibility guidelines, mentoring junior designers and fostering diversity and inclusion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user experience design into product development and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Analyze market trends, gather user research feedback, and use data insights to inform design decisions and optimize experiences
- Contribute to the design community by organizing and facilitating design thinking workshops
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Five years of experience or equivalent expertise in user experience design or similar roles
- Demonstrated ability to create visual representations of user journeys, such as storyboarding, wireframes, and prototypes
- Experience in inclusive design and accessibility guidelines, incorporating diverse perspectives and abilities into solutions
- Proven ability to develop experiences that meet or exceed initial proposals, including transformational innovation strategies
- Advanced technical literacy, including understanding of client-side technologies, APIs, microservices, and their impact on user experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle

- Design leadership or managerial experience
- Advanced skills in designing wireframes, prototypes, and interactive touchpoints
- Proficient in visual design, including creating accessible UIs using Figma and internal design systems
- Skilled in organizing and facilitating design thinking workshops
