Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS as we are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join the Technical (IE- Front End) team as an Executive- Industrial & Systems Engineering. This role enables you to ensure that the Industrial Engineering function across respective accounts is aligned with business requirements, delivering costed SMVs (Standard Minute Values) in a competitive, timely, and accurate manner.
You will work closely with customers to meet target price points while driving SMV savings through method and process improvements to maximize earnings. The role also focuses on ensuring manufacturing feasibility of proposed methods and processes, and on submitting accurate GSD (General Sewing Data) SMVs to planning and manufacturing teams in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend initial tech pack meetings to evaluate customer inquiries and development requirements, ensuring production-feasible sewing constructions, accurate and timely SMV (Standard Minute Value) preparation, adherence to PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) processes, and effective cost justification to support profitable FBC (Fact-Based Costing) and FOB (Free on Board) price calculations.
  • Offer competitive costed SMV (Standard Minute Value) to satisfy customer expectations in terms of CM (Cost of Making) value. Apply product re-engineering, methods, and process innovation to reduce costs and improve productivity in order to retain higher earnings, increase profitability, and drive continuous improvement. Prepare ROI (Return on Investment) and payback data to justify these initiatives.
  • Provide provisional and updated SMV (Standard Minute Value) breakdowns to plants for capacity booking and machinery planning upon request.
  • Provide GSD (General Sewing Data) SMV breakdowns at the integration (FI – Final Integration) stage according to integration constructions. Attend to and resolve plant concerns during integration while justifying the given methods and GSD motions. Ensure all concerns are addressed prior to TP (Top Production) and PP (Pilot Production) to enable a smooth production start.
  • Provide final SMV (Standard Minute Value) using GSD (General Sewing Data) based on final sewing constructions for requested styles accurately and in a timely manner, and include them in the tech pack issued to the plants.
  • Attend to and resolve all relevant concerns arising during production start or ongoing production of a style, working with relevant stakeholders and supporting problem-solving on the factory floor as required.
  • Carry out method standardization and standard SMV (Standard Minute Value) application across divisions to ensure agreed standards are maintained for each style and customer.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Production and Industrial Engineering Management
  • 1–2 years of industrial experience from design to manufacturing processes (IE – Industrial Engineering / Production / Costing)
  • GSD (General Sewing Data – UK license)
