About the Role:

The Event Manager plays a critical role in planning and managing the CrowdStrike presence at flagship trade shows that ultimately drive sales pipeline and brand recognition.  

The primary focus of this role will be to coordinate and execute assigned corporate event tasks, and trade shows in collaboration with cross-departmental team members.  The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of flawless event planning and execution, effective communication, and relationship building skills. You need to be a self-starter as well as have a keen eye for details in order to achieve the defined event goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Knowledge in managing trade show booth development, trade show marketing programs, budget management and onsite execution, event operations & complex logistics.

  • Project management including logistics, securing venues and exhibition space, travel, staffing and development of creative concepts.

  • Execute internal and external event awareness and communication plan and associated deliverables. Including but not limited email invitations, web pages, direct mail, social media, PR, and webinars.

  • Effective budget management and reconciliation. 

  • Helping with the creation of event-focused sales engagement and enablement programs to ensure targeted audience recruitment.

  • Use of best practices for the event execution to ensure consistency.

  • Evaluate event performance, including data-driven post event analysis, de-briefs and wrap-up reports 

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years combined corporate and trade show event experience. Experience at a SaaS-based B2B technology company is a benefit.

  • Ability to assertively project manage teams and hold team members accountable for deliverables.

  • Extensive knowledge in managing trade shows from conception to completion, including project management of complex logistics, show management liaison, production, travel, staffing, budgeting and onsite execution.

  • Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve and come up with solutions and recommendations.

  • Collaborate, consult and influence leaders and stakeholders within the function, across functions and outside of the organization.

  • Strong focus on execution in a fast-paced environment with a track record of working on multiple events concurrently.

  • Analyzes data and provides insights for future executions to ensure we are optimizing our event marketing investments and aligning our event strategy to our campaigns and business objectives.

  • Exceptional project management, and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable with the ability to handle high pressure last-minute, urgent requests.

  • Expected travel: 25% but may increase / fluctuate based on business needs

  • Proficient in Jifflenow, Google/Microsoft Office. Salesforce.com, Adobe Workfront knowledge is a benefit.

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to equal pay for equal work in its compensation practices. The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $100,000 - $170,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
