OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

  • Drive the development of SAP Integrations service operations by monitoring, advising and bringing expertise in defining service management for ERP support in area of SAP Integrations development including internal and external interfaces, making Product Services more agile, product centric and delivering service excellence.
  • Lead the ICC SAP Integrations Services team ensuring that services are provided in time, with expected high level of quality and high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with leaders in the Operating Excellence, Platform and Architectural Services lines to drive continuous improvements of service processes, user experiences, infrastructure and application optimization.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Line management accountability and personal development of a team of highly skilled SAP Integrations developers, and interface orchestration specialists.
  • Lead and transform the SAP Integrations architecture and landscape management aligned to the global template [defining the global standards] with regards to an aligned and streamlined SAP Integrations development execution; ensuring that development standards are followed and enhanced if required.
  • Execute necessary requirements to ensure that the ERP integration environment delivers high-quality end user experiences and develop relevant and easy to consume services on a consistent and well supportable global platform; ensuring scalability and maintenance of services.
  • Influence and lead the support to product developments, release management planning and Country deployments whilst guarding the technical architecture and landscape management.
  • Drive the development of the product services in areas of accountability by monitoring, advising and bringing expertise in service management to ensure that Product Services is acting more agile, product centric and providing service excellence.
  • Support the design for an IT Service Management Strategy, the execution and continuous improvement of this strategy for the area of responsibility (internal) and its partners. Align this strategy to the vision and mission for the global technology user experiences and services functions as part of the IT strategy.
  • Ensure that IT Service Management for Delivery Service meet the Service Level Agreements agreed with the stakeholders and can expert complex advantages, drawbacks and costs of technologies.
  • Ensure that the IT environment meets all applicable regulatory, quality, legal, and compliance requirements - including licensing of software and data protection acts (DPA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Ensure programs and projects are delivered in accordance with all applicable compliance requirements, e.g. JSOX, GxP.
  • Establish, maintain and communicate the organization's strategy for managing SAP systems and the policies, standards, procedures and methods necessary to implement the strategy
  • Influence SAP's industry-based models for the development of new technology applications.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
Required:

  • Min. 12+ years of IT work experience with a minimum 8 years of PI/PO development and integration is essential.
  • Technical expertise in multiple SAP/JDE solution areas such as SD, MM, PM FI, CO, etc. is key.
  • Experience with Integration Platform and tools such as SAP Process Integration (PI/PO), SAP ALE, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and communication protocols such as AS2 is required.
  • Utilizing industry integration standards is mandatory, examples include ANSI x12, EDIFACT, etc.
  • PI/PO, BTP-IS Development experience, including development delivery for full lifecycle implementations for major application implementation; from project initiation till handover to operations.
  • Capable of understanding and designing of the technical solution from requirements gathering, technical design through to code level and promoting up through the SAP landscape ensuring compliance to all development and regulatory standards.
  • Communication - ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner.
  • Data Management - ability to utilize data collection, analysis, maintenance application and refinement methods to make fact based decisions.
  • Analytical Skills - ability to analyze a wide variety of data and make appropriate decisions.
  • Practice efficient time management and coordinates tasks, working in an international environment.
  • Bachelors or other advanced degree


Desired:

  • S4/HANA
  • Master degree.
  • In-depth Pharmaceutical industry and drug development experience.
  • Experience with validated systems
