Job Description

Reporting to the Regional People Director, you will responsible for overseeing payroll operations across multiple countries in the EMEA region, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local tax laws, and timely payroll processing. This role requires leadership, expertise in payroll systems, and knowledge of international payroll regulations. The EMEA Payroll Manager will collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to drive process improvements and ensure a seamless payroll experience for employees.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Payroll Operations & Compliance:
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, social security, and labor regulations across different jurisdictions.
• Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, and month-end reporting in coordination with Finance teams.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations concerning payroll records.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
• Manage relationships with third-party payroll providers, ensuring service quality and contract compliance.
• Act as the key liaison between HR, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams for payroll-related matters.
• Provide payroll expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders, resolving payroll-related queries.
• Process Improvement & System Optimization:
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
• Work closely with HR teams to optimize the process
• Drive automation initiatives and standardize payroll processes across EMEA countries.
• Reporting & Compliance Audits:
• Ensure accurate reporting of payroll costs for budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and submit required statutory filings and reports in line with country-specific regulations.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring payroll compliance and financial integrity.
• Employee Support & Payroll Issue Resolution:
• Address payroll-related concerns from employees and provide resolution in a timely manner.
• Ensure a seamless employee experience by maintaining payroll accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications

• Minimum relevant experience in payroll, 3 years +Expertise in using google sheets/excel sheets .
• 3+yearsExperience of running payroll audits Should be well versed in payroll and benefits legislation in Denmark, Netherlands, Germany Sweden and Spain .
• will require experience working across at least 2 of these countries Experience working with 3rd party payroll service providers
• Should be able to be point of liaison between employees and the provider .
• should be able to collaborate, question and challenge when required.
• Process Improvement - You seek and implement solutions to streamline and automate processes.
• Team Collaboration - You'll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals, valuing and respecting diverse contributions.
