The Electronics Engineer designs and improves products, evaluates components, collaborates with teams, and assists in manufacturing and testing.
Performs routine tasks in the design of new products and makes improvements to existing products. Learning to evaluate products, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability. Work is overseen by leader to ensure that tasks are completed in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular discipline. Resolves routine questions or problems, referring only complex issues to a higher level.
Responsibilities- Research and evaluate electronic subcomponent replacements for obsolescence management.
- Perform fundamental circuit design and troubleshooting to support current and future products.
- Design, build, and test prototype circuits to validate design requirements.
- Assist manufacturing in transitioning prototypes to production.
- Prepare and maintain PCB documentation and sign-off in PLM systems
(e.g., Windchill). - Develop factory acceptance test procedures for in-house and customer requirements.
- Organize tasks, manage ordering and delivery of equipment/materials, and facilitate efficient assembly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide support for sustaining processes and procedures for electrical/electronic items.
- Assist manufacturing and R&M teams in resolving technical issues.
- Offer post-project support, including troubleshooting remotely or onsite as needed.
Experience requirement :
- 6-8 Years of experience
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with prototype development and testing.
- Understanding of obsolescence management and component sourcing.
- Experience in creating test procedures and performing acceptance tests.
Software skills Altium, PADs , Visio.
