This role will focus on optimizing the cash conversion cycle by improving inventory management, billing efficiency, and the delivery-to-acceptance process. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally—with Commercial, Operations, Logistics, Service, and Finance teams—to identify inefficiencies, implement sustainable solutions, and accelerate cash realization. This position plays a critical role in optimizing working capital and supporting the company’s broader financial goals.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Conversion Optimization:
Lead initiatives to improve the cash conversion cycle across the equipment sales lifecycle—from order intake to cash collection.
- Working Capital Management:
Focus on optimizing inventory levels and billing efficiency to support improved operational cash flow.
- Process Improvement:
- Streamline inventory management to reduce excess and slow-moving stock.
- Improve billing accuracy and timeliness to accelerate invoicing and reduce unbilled balances.
- Shorten the delivery-to-acceptance cycle by identifying and removing bottlenecks in logistics, installation, and customer sign-off.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with Commercial, Commercial Finance, Operations, Logistics, Service, and Cash Finance teams to align operational strategies with cash performance objectives. - Performance Metrics & Reporting:
Collaborate with Cash FP&A to define, track, and optimize KPIs related to operational cash performance, including inventory turnover, unbilled revenue, and delivery-to-acceptance cycle time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, operations, or supply chain—preferably within a global healthcare or industrial organization.
- Strong understanding of working capital and cash flow dynamics in equipment sales environments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and process improvement tools.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
