Role Description
- Our Global DEI team collaborates with stakeholders across the organization to drive diversity, equity & inclusion, and a sense of belonging that enhances the employee experience and supports Deutsche Bank’s “compete to win” strategy.
- You will support the Head of DEI in the APAC and MEA region and work on a variety of projects to drive our DEI strategy. You will engage with employee resource groups, develop communications and marketing collateral, partner with HR colleagues and business leaders, and engage with external DEI and industry partners. In addition, you will also be the data analysis expert for the global DEI team, transforming people data into actionable insights that inform our strategy and measure progress.

Your key responsibilities
APAC MEA DEI Strategy & Execution:
- Hands on support for the employee resource groups in the region including on-going consulting, oversight and operational assistance, attendance at steering group meetings, and tracking ERG activities, budget, and progress
- Preparation of internal/external Comms/Brand and other materials related to DEI
- Coordination of and input into relevant benchmarks, award submissions and charters
- Support our relationships with external partners related to thought leadership, trends, marketing, and professional development
- Support proactive knowledge sharing related to DEI across HR using data and research
- Support connectivity with People Strategy / business aligned D&I working groups
Global DEI Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and manage global DEI data (as and when required) from various sources (HRIS, employee surveys, hiring platforms).
- Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis on people data (hiring, promotion, attrition, compensation, engagement) to identify trends, disparities, and opportunities for improvement across all dimensions of diversity.
- Dashboarding & Reporting: Develop and maintain automated global DEI dashboards and reports for senior leadership and the DEI team, providing a clear view of our metrics and progress.
- Survey Analysis: Lead the analysis of People and Pulse surveys through a DEI lens, extracting key themes and recommendations.
- Data-Driven Storytelling: Translate complex data findings into compelling narratives and presentations to influence strategy and drive action.
Your skills and experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to influence without authority and navigate ambiguity and complexity in people relationships
- Data interpretation; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills - experience in data analysis, people analytics, or a similar quantitative role. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, charts) is essential.
- Ability to create and maintain partnerships across various levels of the organization
- DEI background preferred, but not required
