Job requirements
● The incumbent is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the Risk and Compliance team in India and also work closely with Group Head of Risk and Compliance on various facets of Risk and compliance activities across the group.● The role involves regular interaction with stakeholders across the group and providing support in Risk and compliance related initiative with areas including;
Rollout of risk framework, processes and supporting disciplines
Compliance monitoring
Operational Risks framework
Policy Governance

Responsibilities
- The incumbent is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the Risk and Compliance team in India and also work closely with Group Head of Risk and Compliance on various facets of Risk and compliance activities across the group.

- Strong knowledge of governance, risk and compliance approaches
- Experience in a Senior Risk and Compliance role dealing with risk assessment and a good understanding of three lines of defence.

- People management skills including ability to handle a cross functional team and coach individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- An understanding of IT systems and data security
- Technical Skills
- Prior experience in developing and setting up Global Business risk teams in a Green field environment.
- Risk management 31000.
- Prior Experience
- 15 to 18 years of experience working in the Risk and compliance domain and ability to handle a team of professionals having expertise in various domains.
- At least 5 years in a Senior/ Group role, preferably in a multi-national corporate or shared services environment.
- Knowledge of Pension, Health benefits administration and insurance business would be an advantage
- Experience in a global environment and ability to conduct risk assessments are desirable
Qualifications
- Master's degree in any discipline
- Additional qualifications, like ISO 31000 Risk management
