We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our global enterprise network infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise, the ability to think critically, and the ability to lead complex projects that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with good communication skills and a passion for optimizing network performance.
What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
In this position, you will get to:
- Network Design and Architecture
- Plan, design, and implement scalable LAN, WAN, and cloud-based network solutions.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, documentation, and standards.
- Operations and Maintenance
- Monitor network performance and solve issues to ensure a highly available environment.
- Perform upgrades, patches, and configuration changes across routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for level three support blocking issues.
- Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewalls, VPN, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Project leadership
- Lead network related projects, migrations, and integrations.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across IT teams.
- Vendor and Partner Management
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and vendors.
- Work closely with business partners to align network solutions with organizational goals.
You have:
- Academic background in Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Previous experience in or with 5+ years of experience in network engineering
- Expertise in
Routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.)
Firewalls and security appliances (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA)
Wireless technologies and VPN solutions
Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
SD-WAN technologies and application aware routing
Strong knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP).
Experience designing networks for a multi-national organization.
Familiarity with global regulatory requirements.
Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
