Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git-based workflows).
Support infrastructure automation tasks using Ansible under guidance.
Help manage Linux servers (RHEL/OEL) including installation, upgrades, and patching.
Perform routine administration of artifact repositories (Nexus, YUM, Docker registries).
Assist in containerization efforts with Docker
Monitor system performance, investigate issues, and escalate to senior engineers when needed.
Contribute to documentation of procedures, runbooks, and automation scripts.
Collaborate with QA, Engineering, and Security teams on build/release requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
1–2 years of experience in DevOps / Build & Release / System Administration.
Familiarity with:
Linux (RHEL/OEL or similar)
Scripting (Bash, Python, or Groovy basics)
Version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, or Gerrit)
CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins preferred)
Basic understanding of networking, load balancers (HAProxy/NGINX), and web servers (Apache).
Eagerness to learn Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure.
Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
Knowledge of artifact signing, software supply chain security, or vulnerability scanning.
Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana).
Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and best practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with senior engineers and cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills for documenting and sharing technical knowledge.
