Designs and maintains scalable web-service infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, databases, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and infrastructure automation. The role administers Linux environments, optimizes MySQL and PostgreSQL, provisions infrastructure with Terraform and Docker, and improves release reliability through collaboration with development teams. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, networking, configuration management, GitOps workflows, and proactively identifying system bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain infrastructure for web services at scale
Administer and optimize MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse databases
Operate and evolve Kubernetes clusters — workload management, scaling, reliability
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, GitLab CI, ArgoCD)
Implement and improve monitoring and alerting ( Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics)
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Docker,Terraform)
Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes and system reliability
Proactively identify bottlenecks and drive improvements across the stack
Requirements
Expert Linux administration skills
Hands-on Kubernetes experience (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
Strong knowledge of database principles and operations — MySQL, PostgreSQL
Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python
Experience with configuration management
Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Experience with CI/CD tools: TeamCity, GitLab CI
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, routing, and data transmission protocols
Self-driven learner — able to independently adopt and implement new technologies
Nice to Have-
ClickHouse administration experience
Familiarity with VictoriaMetrics or other time-series databases
Experience with ArgoCD and GitOps workflows
