Job Description
The position
We are seeking an experienced Development Lead for SAP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development, particularly in ABAP and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and a proven track record of leading successful projects. This role involves overseeing the development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality SAP solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the SAP development team, providing guidance and mentorship.
Oversee the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions using ABAP and BTP.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, particularly in ABAP and BTP environments.
Manage project risks and issues effectively.
Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, focusing on ABAP and BTP.
Required Education, Experience, and Skill
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP development, including ABAP and BTP.
Proven experience in leading and managing development teams.
Strong understanding of SAP modules, integration points, and BTP capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
SAP certification in ABAP or BTP is a plus.
