About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process, from conceptualization to implementation, for our various products & platforms. You will be a key contributor to shaping the user experience, ensuring our products are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing. You will also mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
What you’ll do:
Lead the Design Process: Oversee the entire design process, from user research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation.
User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Analyze research findings to inform design decisions.
Information Architecture & User Flows: Develop and maintain information architecture, user flows, and site maps to ensure a clear and intuitive user experience.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
UI Design & Visual Design: Design visually appealing and consistent user interfaces that align with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
Design System & Style Guide: Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive design system and style guide to ensure consistency across all products.
Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet business requirements and technical feasibility. Clearly communicate design decisions and rationale.
Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
Stay Up-to-Date: Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices.
Usability Testing & Iteration: Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data.
Accessibility: Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
What we’re looking for :
6+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience.
Proven experience leading design projects and mentoring junior designers.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Strong proficiency in Figma, motion tools (Lottie, After Effects), prototyping and systems thinking.
Experience with user research methods, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
Curiosity for Gen AI, AR/VR or new tech that pushes UX forward.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of information architecture, user flows, and interaction design.
Experience designing for web, mobile (iOS & Android), and specifically for chatbot applications (similar to ChatGPT) and internal tools
A strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, problem-solving skills, and visual design abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
Bonus Points:
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design.
Experience with motion design and animation.
Experience with accessibility best practices (WCAG).
Solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
