This position of Electronics Engineer is to be part of electronics team responsible for the development of drivers and encoders for motors in Portescap.
This role will be responsible for the design and development of electronics systems for encoder and controller development with good understanding of motion control systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and develop electronic circuits for encoder technologies (optical, magnetic, inductive) and controllers. Integrate sensors with microcontroller/microprocessors for real time data acquisition. Develop and optimize signal processing algorithms for parameter evaluation. Create PCB schematic and layouts and testing of PCBs. Benchmark competitor products and performances. Collaborate with CFT to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing.
Critical Competencies
Knowledge of analog and digital circuits Knowledge of sensors and related electronic circuits Familiarity with microcontrollers (eg. TI, ST) and embedded C/C++ programming Knowledge of PCB designing basics and hands-on experience in schematic and PCB design in any tool as Orcad, Altium, KiCad etc. Hand-on experience with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, function generator, spectrum analyzer Basic knowledge of signal processing and numerical calculations Basic knowledge of motor and drivers is added advantage
Education and Experience Requirements
BTech in Electrical Engineering (EE)/Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)/ECE with 5-6 year experience in product design and development.
OR
Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 3 - 4 years’ experience in product design and development
