Data Scientist

The role

The Data Scientist is a vital role within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio and Oakbrook. Role is a professional who uses data to solve problems, uncover patterns, and help organizations make better decisions. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and progressive environment, where you will support us in building our next generation of GenAI enabled tech businesses.

Key responsibilities and duties
•Develop and deploy machine learning models to support credit risk and business strategy.
• Refresh and maintain production models, ensuring performance and stability.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor key performance
• Present model insights and recommendations at Credit Committees and stakeholder meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement of modelling approaches and feature engineering pipelines.
•Support ad-hoc analysis and investigations related to credit performance.
About you

The ideal candidate will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving business and hence be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Excellent stakeholder management experience is essential to being successful in this role.

Qualifications, technical and or professional experience 

•Previous experience using a programming language with a willingness to learn SQL and R
• Experience with producing reports in Power BI
• Experience with model building and development would be advantageous
