Overview
The Product Data & Analytics team builds internal analytic partnerships to strengthen focus on:• Business health and portfolio optimization• Revenue opportunities and initiative tracking• New product development and Go-To-Market strategies
We provide scalable end-to-end data solutions and influence decisions across Mastercard through data-driven insights.
Role Responsibilities• Architect, develop, and maintain advanced reporting and visualization capabilities on large data volumes.• Translate business requirements into solution specifications and high-quality deliverables.• Create repeatable ETL, modeling, and reporting processes.• Manipulate large-scale databases, synthesize insights, and present findings via Tableau/PowerBI dashboards, Excel, and PowerPoint.• Apply quality control, data validation, and cleansing processes to new and existing data sources.
All About You• Experience in data engineering, analytics, reporting, and quantitative analysis.• Advanced SQL skills; ability to write optimized queries for large datasets.• Familiarity with Cloudera Hadoop, Big Data stack, SQL Server, Microsoft BI Stack, Cloud, Snowflake.• Exposure to Python, Scala, Hive, Impala, Spark.• Experience creating data pipelines using tools like Alteryx, SSIS.• Knowledge of job scheduling tools (Apache Airflow, NIFI).• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Domo).• Strong skills in data validation and cleansing.• Ability to present insights in a clear, actionable format.• Comfortable interacting with management and stakeholders.• Payments or financial institution experience is a plus.
Education• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics.
