Job Description
Job Overview: This role is ideal for a computer science graduate with a focus on data science, who has a passion for leveraging data engineering, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) to transform and model data for business intelligence (BI) applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with generative AI and a solid understanding of its applications at the enterprise level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data transformation and modeling, supporting the BI layer.
- Use ML and AI techniques within Snowflake to optimize data transformation processes, ensuring high-quality data for advanced analytics and reporting.
- Develop, deploy, and manage generative AI models, such as large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) solutions, and integrate them into enterprise environments.
- Leverage technologies like TensorFlow and Llama for building and scaling AI models that address business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven solutions that enhance BI capabilities.
- Work with Azure AI tools and services to build and deploy scalable AI solutions, with experience in AWS AI models as a plus.
- Support and maintain existing data transformation and modeling processes, continually optimizing for performance and accuracy.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or a related role.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with practical knowledge of frameworks like TensorFlow.
- Proficient in machine learning and AI, with experience in NLP and working with LLMs.
- Familiarity with Snowflake and experience applying ML techniques within its environment.
- Experience with generative AI tools and techniques, with a focus on LLMs and NLP applications in enterprise settings.
- Proficient with Azure AI, with familiarity in AWS AI models as a good-to-have skill.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Qualifications
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or GoodData.
- Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure and AWS.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling for BI.
