We seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Product Engineering team. In this role, you will focus on collecting, organizing, and analyzing data tied to DORA Metrics (DevOps Research and Assessment), while creating actionable reports that enable data-driven decisions. Your contributions will directly influence our ability to measure, enhance, and optimize software delivery performance, operational efficiency, and the overall effectiveness of our product engineering efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage data from disparate systems and transform it into a structured, meaningful, and usable dataset.

Automate data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to improve efficiency.

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and deliver actionable insights.

Benchmark engineering performance against industry standards and internal goals.

Conduct ad hoc analyses to address specific business challenges and support strategic initiatives.

Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation for transparency and consistency.

Analyze DORA Metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time, MTTR, Change Failure Rate) to identify trends and improve software delivery performance.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

1+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a software engineering or DevOps environment.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deep dive into processes and systems.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities (written and verbal).

Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and analytics platforms.
