Summary:
In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of bespoke software solutions. This position requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role emphasizes establishing and maintaining development standards, ensuring that the software produced is scalable, performs efficiently, and aligns closely with the strategic goals of the business. Collaboration and leadership are central, as the lead supports teams in navigating complex technical challenges and drives continuous improvement in software quality and functionality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business needs.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Consumer Goods and Services.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for scalable system design.
- Ability to lead and coordinate software development teams through complex project phases.
- Experience in performance optimization and ensuring software solutions meet business performance criteria.
- Skilled in problem-solving and providing innovative technical solutions within a collaborative environment.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
