Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of custom applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions meet the defined requirements. The engineer acts as the main liaison for the project, guiding the team through challenges and driving progress to deliver high-quality software tailored to business needs. Collaboration and proactive problem-solving are key aspects throughout the day, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of the applications within the broader system landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of development activities to meet project goals and timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency and quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Experience with integration patterns and middleware technologies related to cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues and provide effective solutions.
- Familiarity with API management, event-driven architecture, and data transformation techniques.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
