Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components or applications. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The engineer applies modern development frameworks and agile methodologies to continuously improve and adapt solutions to meet evolving business requirements, ensuring high performance and reliability throughout the software lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the planning and execution of software development activities to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align software solutions with organizational objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Hadoop Administration.
- Experience in managing and maintaining large-scale distributed computing environments.
- Strong knowledge of cluster configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with data storage, processing frameworks, and security best practices within Hadoop ecosystems.
- Ability to automate routine tasks and optimize system operations for improved efficiency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Hadoop Administration.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
- Work from client office all working days (No WFH).
