Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices within the team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve application performance and development efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Scala.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Full Stack Development, .Net Full Stack Development, Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong understanding of functional programming principles and paradigms.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Scala.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
