Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the evolving demands of the organization while maintaining a focus on quality and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Continuously assess and improve development processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks. - Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues. - Familiarity with agile project management tools and practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). - This position is based at our Mumbai office. - A 15 years full time education is required. Experience in SAP roll-outs , migration, upgrades projects - you can add this in Professional & Technical Skills Experience in end-to-end solution design for SAP SD modules, including Order to Cash processes, Pricing, Shipping, Billing, Credit Management, and Rebates. Working knowledge of cross-functional modules and business processes. Knowledge of EDI/IDoc integrations, SAP CPI, APIs. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Strong hands-on knowledge in OTC processes e.g. intercompany sales, third-party sales, pricing & promotions, rebates, billing & invoicing.
