Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the software meets client requirements, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support project goals, and overseeing the development process to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the software development process. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. - Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM AS/400 RPG III. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies. - Experience with system configuration and integration. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively. - Familiarity with project management tools and practices. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM AS/400 RPG III. - Must have Synon 2E or Lansa skill - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
