Looking for a Corporate Legal Executive to manage legal affairs, focusing on contract drafting, documentation, litigation coordination, and providing legal support to internal teams.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Legal Executive to manage and support the company’s legal affairs. The role focuses on contract drafting, legal documentation, dispute coordination, and providing legal assistance to internal teams. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in corporate and commercial law, particularly in handling legal work within the IT or technology services sector.
Key Responsibilities:Contract Drafting & Review- Draft, review, and assist in negotiating agreements such as NDAs, vendor contracts, client agreements, service contracts, and partnership MOUs.
- Identify potential legal risks and ensure terms are consistent with company interests.
- Maintain a structured process for reviewing and approving all legal documents.
- Prepare standard legal documents, letters, and notices as required by management.
- Support in drafting internal policies, disclaimers, and other business-related documents.
- Maintain organized records of all executed agreements and legal correspondence.
- Provide legal inputs and clarifications to management and internal teams on business-related matters.
- Conduct legal research on relevant topics and prepare briefing notes or summaries when required.
- Support management in interpreting contract clauses and advising on risk mitigation.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel on any ongoing cases, notices, or legal opinions.
- Draft initial responses and maintain proper documentation for all communications.
- Track case progress, hearings, and follow-up requirements in coordination with legal advisors.
- Assist in reviewing business proposals, tenders, or partnership documents from a legal standpoint.
- Support management in drafting or reviewing board-level or inter-company legal documents.
- Provide assistance during legal due diligence, mergers, or contractual handovers when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); Master’s degree in Law (LLM) preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in a corporate legal role, preferably in the IT or technology consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of contract drafting, legal correspondence, and business law principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong drafting and interpretation skills.
- Attention to detail and high sense of accountability.
- Professional communication and negotiation ability.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in handling legal matters.
