Job Description

Position Overview

At Third Bridge, our clients consist of some of the largest private equity funds, hedge funds, mutual funds and management consulting firms, who are serviced by a team of over 1400 employees located across ten global offices. We are looking to hire a Compliance Manager based in Mumbai to join our growing Compliance team located across six offices. We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in finding innovative and timely solutions. 

The Compliance Manager will manage a team of Compliance Associates based in Mumbai, and report to the AVP, Compliance, based in New York. They will work with management and stakeholders throughout the business to support, evaluate and enhance current compliance approval mechanisms. This person will be a self-starter with strong commercial acumen who plays a key role in optimising compliance-related workflow, whilst mitigating risk, to contribute directly to the success of the Third Bridge.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team training and best practice documents

  • Ensure Third Bridge is compliant with applicable laws, internal compliance procedures and pre-agreed client specific processes 

  • Manage workflows and escalations to ensure timely and accurate completion of reviews 

  • Monitor and deliver data related to key performance metrics and compliance health 

  • Identify gaps and implement improvements to team processes

  • Drive industry leading compliance performance and optimise efficiency

  • Liaise regularly with internal stakeholders to promote best practices and understand business needs 

Working Hours


Monday to Friday - 12:30 pm to 9:30 pm IST, with one day a month in our Mumbai office 9 am to 6 pm IST.

  • Degree level qualification (or equivalent)

  • 7+ years previous work experience ideally within risk/compliance at a financial services company

  • Experience managing a team is required
