Role Description: Compliance Analyst - Tunisia


Role Purpose:


Wasabi’s Compliance Analyst will be a remote position that is part of the Business Enablement: Legal team. This role will contribute to Wasabi's compliance efforts with industry standards that are relevant to cloud services and the industries that we serve. In this role, you will pair your knowledge of cloud infrastructure and compliance standards, working cross functionally within the organization to address our mission - providing the optimal price, performance, and protection for public cloud object storage. You must have experience obtaining and maintaining

ISO 27001 Certification and with standardized questionnaires such as SIG and CAIQ. Experience with any of the following frameworks is desirable, but not required: CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, SOC 2, and TPN.


In this position, you should demonstrate excellent communication skills, an ability to work cross functionally, and have a solid foundation with a compliance focus.


This role will report to the Director, Compliance & Security.

This position is being hired through a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), which supports Wasabi Technologies with payroll and HR compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the company in areas of industry compliance relevant for cloud services.
  • Provide primary support for ISO 27001 Certification and ongoing ISO 27001 maintenance.
  • Provide support for compliance related audits conducted with third-party assessment organizations.
  • Review and respond to time-sensitive compliance requests received by other facets of the company and referring, as needed, to compliance leadership.
  • Analyze and summarize monthly compliance-related activity.
  • Identify areas of potential risk or non-compliance and provide recommend corrective actions.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Wasabi teams and assist where appropriate.
  • Assist with annual standardized questionnaires including, but not limited to, the SIG Core/Light/Detail and CAIQ.
  • Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Assist with other Wasabi compliance activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years’ experience with ISO 27001 Certification.
  • 1+ years’ experience with compliance and/or security responsibilities.
  • Experience obtaining industry compliance certification for SaaS or IaaS cloud products.
  • Experience with the compliance process, security frameworks, and standards for CCMC, GDPR, the UK GDPR, and other regional-specific privacy and security frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other compliance processes,security frameworks, and standards, such as NIST, CJIS, HIPAA, FedRAMP, StateRAMP, SOC 2, MPA TPN, and/or the US SEC.
  • Knowledge of EU and APAC country-specific frameworks such as HDS, BIS, CE/CE+, and IRAP.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings to management.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced.
