The Compass Tester ensures the quality of web and mobile applications through testing, including automation, API, and database testing, while collaborating closely with development teams.
As a Compass Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our web and mobile applications. Your expertise in Compass testing, combined with your knowledge of automation and manual testing techniques, will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with our development teams, providing valuable insights and feedback to enhance the overall testing process.

- Conduct comprehensive Compass testing for web and mobile applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and execute test cases, both manually and through automation, to identify and report bugs and issues.
- Perform API testing to validate the integration and functionality of web services.
- Implement and maintain automation frameworks using C# to streamline the testing process.
- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the applications.
- Conduct database testing to verify data integrity and consistency.
- Provide mobile testing expertise, ensuring the applications perform optimally across various devices and platforms.
- Offer deployment support, ensuring a smooth and error-free release process.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and industry best practices.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Compass testing is mandatory.
- Proficiency in manual and automation testing across web and mobile applications is essential.
- Strong knowledge of API testing and experience with C# automation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is highly desirable.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Familiarity with database testing and understanding of data integrity concepts.
- Knowledge of mobile testing best practices and experience with various mobile platforms.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
