You will own the end-to-end management of building our supply, overseeing sourcing, training & onboarding. Your mission is to ensure a steady supply of high-quality supply, optimize costs, and drive operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of company’s growth journey, requiring strategic vision and impeccable execution.
Position Summary: As City Head, you will lead company’s growth and operations in your city. This is a mission-critical leadership role that combines strategic thinking with ground-level execution. You will own the supply pipeline, lead hiring, training, and onboarding, and ensure seamless service delivery with a laser focus on quality, speed, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Build & Scale Expert Supply
• Drive onboarding of trained and verified supply.
• Leverage local hiring channels, community partnerships, and referral networks
• Ensure a steady pipeline to meet dynamic market demand
Own Training & Quality.
• Monitor performance and enforce service quality benchmarks
• Implement continuous retraining and quality improvement initiatives
Ensure Operational Excellence
• Track key operational metrics: order fulfillment, cancellations, turnaround time
• Solve on-ground issues with speed and creativity
• Continuously improve delivery processes and SOPs
Lead & Manage Teams
• Hire, manage, and mentor field operations associates and city managers
• Build a high-trust, high-accountability culture
• Motivate teams around targets and customer satisfaction
Optimize Cost & Efficiency
• Monitor operational costs and optimize unit economics
• Identify and reduce inefficiencies, leakages, and wastage
• Collaborate with central teams (Tech, Product, Supply Chain) for improvements
Drive Local Strategy & Growth
• Localize and adapt playbooks for your city’s unique context
• Launch growth experiments and new initiatives
• Report insights and performance to leadership regularly
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in field operations, supply chain, logistics, or a similar role at a high growth startup.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills; prior experience managing large field teams preferred.
- High bias for action and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and people management abilities.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
- High proficiency in using data and analytics to solve complex business problems.
