We’re looking for a highly-motivated Regional Field & Channel Marketing Manager with experience across multiple marketing disciplines to deliver/execute the marketing plan in India. This is a brand new position that will work closely with the India Sales & Channel team, along with the broader APJ/ International & corporate marketing teams to execute an aligned and comprehensive marketing strategy that drives results.

The primary focus of this role is to support key regional sales and marketing initiatives, help grow the Druva brand, generate demand, and increase overall pipeline & revenue contribution.  We need a self-starter with collaborative spirit who thrives in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment. This exciting position reports to the APJ Marketing Lead and is part of the International Marketing whose charter is scaling Druva’s business across APJ and EMEA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop the regional marketing plan and manage associated budgets
  • Leverage Global and APJ campaigns as relevant for the region. Work closely with campaign managers and APJ marketing leader to right-size, localize, and package corporate/ regional campaigns for the India market
  • Define and rollout new campaigns that support specific, unique regional requirements and market opportunities
  • In alignment with the regional Channel strategy, own the Channel Marketing plans & execution with select regional partners
  • In collaboration with Alliance & Sales colleagues, manage campaign creation and execution with key Alliance partners like AWS, Dell and Microsoft
  • Own the annual regional events plan (virtual & F2F when applicable), including contract negotiation, pre-& post-event actions. Align Marketing leadership on budget approvals & requirements
  • Act as the primary local marketing liaison for SDRs, Field & Channel Sales teams in India
  • Manage the regional external agency relationships for paid media,  demand programs, events. Ensure all activities are executed on time and within set budget.
  • Work closely with the International Marketing Ops lead to follow consistent lead upload/activity tracking processes and regional campaign set up.
  • Work with Marketing Leadership to establish benchmarks for country-specific performance measurement, ensuring all activities align to set KPI’s and GTM targets
  • Measure and control program effectiveness to ensure demonstrable return on investment for all activities
  • Collaborate closely with the PR manager for the region to drive increased awareness and internal appreciation of marketing activities: ensure circulation of results and follow up actions to all stakeholders
  • Provide quarterly marketing reviews and analysis of comprehensive performance to regional & APJ Marketing & Sales Leadership.
  • Collaborate with HQ to build aligned social media, PR & AR efforts into regional marketing plan

Required Skillset

  • Can thrive in a fast-paced, startup- environment with ability to multi-task and operate to a high standard
  • Resolute in prioritising: focus on projects and activities that are closely aligned to strategy and will make the biggest impact
  • Results-oriented with proven experience delivering effective awareness, demand generation, and channel marketing activities that deliver measurable and repeatable results
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end events & trade shows, both virtual and physical (when environments allow), ensuring top-notch execution and an emphasis on results.
  • Experience working across multiple countries & an understanding of the varying market dynamics/needs
  • Ability to build rapport and strong relationships with Sales colleagues, establishing credibility as key member of the team and the marketing expert for the region
  • Previous experience working for US HQ’d company with matrix functions across Global and APJ
  • Team player with can-do attitude

  • Reasonable understanding of SFDC and Marketing Automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, etc)
  • Willingness to travel as needed (when it’s safe to do so & current restrictions are lifted)

Your Education, Experience & Certification:

  • Minimum 5+ years in B2B tech marketing with demonstrable, proven successes
  • Experience in SaaS, Cloud, or related technologies is a Plus!
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of the demand funnel and conversion rates
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Strong Commercial/Business acumen
