Role Description
The role is an extension of the onshore Global ICG BCU team. The Control function is an important role in monitoring, managing and mitigating FIC Non-Financial Risk

Your key responsibilities
- Operate and liaise with FIC staff and others as needed on various level 1 controls such as Customer Complaints, Markup review, Sales Trader Workflow, Deal Logging Review, Time of execution, etc
- Work on MCRP Corrective Action Plans related to Sales and assist with governance/ monitoring of the MCRP controls
- Assist with generation of governance packs (Global NFR, Regional NFR, etc) including a detailed review of patterns and trends, data accuracy.
- Support the development and review of client related controls such as Uncleared Margin exception management process and key financial crime controls,
- Support the management of Front Office Operational risk including operational and financial integrity issues, Self-Identified Issues, Audit Findings, Operational loss events, etc
- Lead and discuss incorporation of new metrics in NFR dashboard and other reporting suites, and collaborate with developers for potential automation.
- Provide analytical support to the BCU team and senior management decision making.
Your skills and experience
- MBA in Finance from a premier institution with relevant experience
- 5-6 years work experience in banking domain working in regulatory reporting projects/ operational risk management.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in dealing with high volume of data, management of databases and Excel. Advanced exposure to Word and Powerpoint is must
- Strong analytical skills and ability to formulate clearly and present information in a compelling manner
- Confident to question the status quo business practice / existing control framework
- Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Trade Lifecycle of FIC Products (front to back) would be an added advantage
