Job Overview:
You will oversee financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making and ensure optimal working capital management. Your role includes preparing accurate reports, monitoring KPIs, identifying financial risks, and collaborating with teams to evaluate cost-saving and revenue-enhancing initiatives. A qualified Chartered Accountant with strong analytical skills and 2-4 years of experience will excel in this dynamic, fast-paced environment. Effective communication and business acumen are key to delivering impactful insights.
Your Role:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of financial data, including revenue, expenses, and monitor file wise profitability. Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Work closely with various departments to gather input and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management, shareholders, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with governance, compliance and adherence to company policies.
- Decision Support: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate cost-saving initiatives, and revenue-generating projects.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks, monitor debtors and ensuring pro active update to business team for collection. Ensure at all point in time cash inflow vs outflow is balanced for optimal working capital management.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track financial performance. Analyze variances and deviations from targets, and proactively address issues as they arise.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial results, analysis, and recommendations effectively to internal stakeholders, including senior management and department heads. Present findings in clear, concise presentations and reports.
Qualifiers:
- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking ability.
