Role Description
- Role mainly supports the GCT business ensuring accurate and timely financial and risk reporting. Since the candidate supports this business being part of GCT, the below responsibility fits well considering role enhancement.
- The role mainly supports the GCT Central business ensuring accurate and timely financial and risk reporting. This covers both Group reporting as well as standalone reporting associated with ~30 special purpose entities (SPEs).
- Close interaction with the Front Office, Business Management, Operations and Finance teams is essential. The role also involves facing off to both external auditors and directors of the SPEs.

Your key responsibilities
- Provide co-ordination between external auditors, Front Office and support functions within DB to ensure issues (e.g. valuations, classifications, levelling, etc.) are resolved promptly.
- Attend board meetings to approve standalone financial statements of ~30 Repack entities.
- Work with control functions to ascertain new trades can be properly supported from a Finance point of view.
- Review of month end results for Group reporting (IFRS) and secondary GAAP (HGB) are in line with expectations. This involves close collaboration with Manila Finance to ensure all balances are properly understood by account owners, reconciliations completed, disclosure are accurate and any issues escalated in a timely manner.
- Challenge the process methodology, with the expectation of achieving control efficiencies and improved management data.
- Act as a point of contact for engagements with the wider Finance community and Desk, taking part in initiative to minimise duplication of effort and maximise efficiencies.
Your skills and experience
- Responsible for erstwhile FD responsibilities for GCT business.
- This includes analytics function (Financial Intelligence) for different business in GCT. Supports audit queries around GCT business.
- Responsibility involves interaction with Business finance heads/Desk to help them in day-to day business analysis covering FRM/Revenues etc.
- Working experience of 7 years in Finance profile.
