Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our market presence. This role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and increasing revenue for Tech Data Advanced Private Limited.
Job Responsibilities:
* Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on key industries and target accounts relevant to Tech Data Advanced Private Limited's offerings.
* Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies and sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and positioning Tech Data Advanced Private Limited's solutions effectively.
* Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential new product/service offerings.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, technical) to develop compelling proposals, presentations, and solutions tailored to client requirements.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with clients to close deals and maximize profitability.
* Represent Tech Data Advanced Private Limited at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
* Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market insights to management.
* Stay up to date with industry developments, product knowledge, and competitive offerings.
Job Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* 5+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the technology distribution or IT services industry.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.
* Strong understanding of the Palo Alto business landscape and key industry players.
* Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build rapport and establish trust with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
* Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
