JM is preparing for the significant growth in their Sustainable Fuels and Chemicals business. Covering Low Carbon Hydrogen, Sustainable Aviation Fuels (HYCOGen – FT and Bioforming), e-Methanol, e-Synthetic Natural Gas (e-SNG) and Ammonia Cracking.
Working alongside Business Development Managers, this role explores and develops new business growth opportunities within Catalyst Technologies, each individually with potential to deliver significant annual revenue within 5-10 year time frame.

Your responsibilities:

Contribute to the identification, assessment (technical and commercial) and development of new business opportunities in all geographic locations from idea generation through to first commercialisation to deliver sustained and significant medium to long-term growth.

Develop content to build accurate business cases, financial models and presentations to senior management.

Dealing with management of non-disclosure agreements ensuring JM’s confidential information is protected

Identify and develop suitable external partner relationships to help accelerate the global deployment of the business opportunity.

Completing analysis in support the negotiation of collaboration, development, licence or other sales agreements

Manage internal relationships throughout JM to deliver the commercial opportunity working closely with R&D, legal, operations, engineering and other commercial resources.

Scout for future opportunities for internal development, partnerships or acquisitions, working with the Catalyst Technology Business Units and JM Group Corporate development and IDEO teams to leverage and build Open Innovation networks
Requirements for the role:

Technical degree or equivalent, preferably in chemistry, materials science or engineering

Interest in the development of technology solutions for decarbonisation and circularity

Aptitude for business opportunity scouting and development

Excellent standard of both written and verbal communication
